Founded in 2019, DOUM FOR WOMEN is a cooperative that preserves ancestral weaving traditions while creating sustainable income opportunities for more than one hundred women across Youssoufia and Marrakech.
By combining training, mentorship, and fair compensation, the cooperative turns traditional handcraft into a recognized path of economic independence and professional pride.
Each creation reflects a balance between heritage and progress, proving that social impact and luxury craftsmanship can coexist within the same model of excellence.

Within the cooperative, artisans specialize in raffia weaving, palm fiber braiding, and decorative finishing.
Each creation reflects the authenticity of Moroccan handcraft, executed with precision and adapted to the requirements of international luxury brands.
The cooperative works in full synergy with DOUM’s atelier, ensuring seamless integration between handwoven components and finished leather goods.
Social Impact

More than 250 women artisans are now trained and sustainably employed within the DOUM FOR WOMEN cooperative.
Each artisan benefits from fair and transparent wages that exceed local standards, as well as access to continuous education programs in design, finishing, and financial literacy.
